    Automotive Industry

The automotive industry is often a driver to push boundaries. We experience our customers' challenges in collecting data under demanding conditions, high temperatures and large temperature fluctuations, very dirty/polluted environments, different weather conditions and space constraints.

New types of cars create new types of opportunities and challenges. For example, the noise picture inside electric cars is completely different than in cars with internal combustion engines. It also allows for even better audio systems for the benefit of the user. In addition, performance in in-car entertainment and voice-controlled functions is constantly evolving.

Often there will be wishes for the sensor itself to provide data you can trust – over a longer period of time, several times, and that it takes up as little space as possible, so you can get more measuring points in a small space. And then it must not interfere physically with the desired data in a wind tunnel test or road test.

And then it must be easy and quick to work with, because we know that the time spent on testing is not cheap.

Our test systems move with those limits...

In recent years, the market's widest range of products has been developed. Products that meet the extreme requirements.

These are thin surface microphones, with the same specifications as measuring microphones. They can be easily mounted and dismantled, and take up almost no space from an acoustic point of view and in relation to a flow situation.

The surface microphones can also measure places where it may be impossible to fit a standard measuring microphone

The standard measuring microphones have become more robust, and today can better withstand the rough processing and still deliver data you can trust, and can even be delivered ATEX-approved.

Within audio systems, there will be new standards and platforms to be supported, for example Google ART.
